Slight network outrage

Some clients today may have had a slight issue when trying to access one or two of the servers at Ultima Development Laboratories. The reason for this is there was a small attack that the guards was filtering which caused a small amount of the systems to experience some latency and temporary connectivity issues.

This should now be fine. If you are still having an issue, submit us a ticket with a current traceroute.

Problems with UDL Mainsite Backup DNS

This is not a problem on any clients systems or websites and only affects our main website. We currently installed a backup system for if our main website does down.

Due to some slight problems, it has now and then detected it as down and automatically has switched to the backup websites. We are working on improving this.

This is needed if ever we have any issues and need to redirect the website whenever needed.

Maintenance Work

Some services were disrupted shortly prior to this post as the node and some other systems had undergone some maintenance work.

They are now back online but may need to be taken down again for further work. We apologize for this unexpected downtime.

Network Downtime

A VPS was rooted yesterday. While we sorted the problem out within a very short time, the datacenter didn't seem to have been informed.

For this reason, the node has been taken offline. We have contacted them, though we have no ETA for normal service to be resumed, but it is estimated to take no longer than two hours.

UPDATE: the datacenter has been informed and the node should be brought back online shortly.

UPDATE 2: the datacenter reports that the node is now back online. Normal service should now be resumed - thank you for your patience.

Network Outage

There have been reports of network outages lasting for a few minutes. The exact cause is unknown, but it has been resolved and should not occur again.

Apologies to anyone who was affected by it.
